Because I want this industry to thrive and survive. Hollywood can afford to make dumb movies and not be concerned about the profits, they're more comfortable than us in my opinion. But I think our industry has the edge because we can polish our products to create something to behold and be special. We just don't have the comfort zone that the movie industry does. Look at Uncharted or LBP, those games...

Sold to retail IS the same as shipped. Do people really think MS or any company with a product is going to give these things away on credit? Retail has to BUY the product and when that happens the company SHIPS that paid product to RETAIL.

I'm rather interested in this game. Its like karaoke for movies. I hope their catalog is an extensive one instead of just relying on whats popular right now, like Twilight or what have you. I mean, they better have Tropic Thunder on there or something in that range of movies.
Name something, and yeah, its probably overrated. I like Uncharted though, maybe because I've been a fan before the franchise was popular.
